Grain Rot Outpost

Grain Rot Review & Verdict

A post-launch take on the co-op extraction horror from Beck & Branch Games and Neem Interactive.

Score: 8.3 / 10 — A polished, genuinely funny co-op extraction horror with a body that won't stay dead and an Outpost that makes every run matter. Best enjoyed with three friends you don't mind betraying.

What it is

Grain Rot is a first-person co-op extraction horror about survival, scavenging, and spectacular betrayal, made by Beck & Branch Games (a two-person studio) and published by Neem Interactive. You and up to three friends are Living Sparks riding fragile wooden vessels into a scorched, rotting world. Smash furniture for loot, feed it to the Grinder, extract before the Corrupted close in, and rebuild the Sanctuary Outpost. When your vessel breaks, your Spark lives on — so death is just a costume change, not a game over.
